US House tightens security as U.S. continues war with Iran

WASHINGTON, March 2 (KUNA) -- Security will be tightened at the US House amid mounting concerns over the ramifications of ongoing US military operations against Iran, House Sergeant at Arms William McFarland said Monday.
"There will be heightened security measures and a noticeable increased police presence across the U.S. Capitol campus," McFarland said in a letter to House offices.
"While the USCP has not identified any specific or credible threats, these measures have been put in place out of an abundance of caution," he added. (end) asj.mt
