KUWAIT, March 2 (KUNA) -- His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received a phone call Monday from Prime Minister of Pakistan Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif, during which the Pakistani leader strongly condemned the brazen Iranian attacks targeting Kuwaiti territory.
During the call, Sharif expressed Islamabad's firm denunciation of the assault, describing it as a blatant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty, airspace, international law, and the United Nations Charter.
He emphasized Pakistan's rejection of the attacks, noting the threats they pose to civilian infrastructure and citizens in Kuwait.
Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan's support for Kuwait's leadership, government, and people, and endorsed all measures and decisions taken by Kuwait to safeguard its sovereignty and security.
His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan, expressing appreciation for Pakistan's steadfast support for Kuwait's security and stability.
His Highness the Crown Prince also extended his sincere thanks to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for this gesture, wishing him good health and well-being. (end)
