Emirati media delegation to visit Kuwait to enhance joint media action

DUBAI, Feb 1 (KUNA) -- Dubai Press Club announced on Sunday that a UAE media delegation will visit Kuwait, aimed at strengthening media cooperation and exchanging expertise between media institutions in the two countries.
In a statement to KUNA, the Dubai Government Media Office said the visit comes within the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohamad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan to celebrate the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait.
The statement noted that the visit includes the organization of the "UAE-Kuwaiti Media Ceremony," to be held in the presence of Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.
The UAE delegation comprises more than 100 prominent media figures, including media leaders and icons, artists, producers, heads of media and press institutions, editors-in-chief of newspapers, as well as writers, journalists, content creators and influencers, it added.
The events will also see the participation of a select group of Kuwaiti media leaders, journalists, prominent writers, thinkers and opinion-makers.
According to the statement, the visit's program includes the UAE-Kuwaiti Media Ceremony, along with a series of activities, professional meetings and field visits to a number of Kuwaiti media organizations, in addition to discussion sessions highlighting best media practices and exploring prospects for future media cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
