KUWAIT, Jan 22 (KUNA) -- Boursa Kuwait closed trading on Thursday with its general index inclining by 17.80 points, or 0.20 percent, to reach 8,864.81 points, with 267 million shares traded through 18,471 cash deals, valued at KD 80.15 million (about USD 244.4 million).
The Main Market Index inclined by 45.31 points, or 0.55 percent, to reach 8,276.03 points, through trading of 115.4 million shares across 9,361 cash deals, valued at KD 20.7 million (about USD 63.13 million).
The Premier Market Index also rose up by 11.98 points, or 0.13 percent, to reach 9,449.36 points, through trading of 151.6 million shares across 9,110 deals, valued at KD 59.3 million (about USD 180.8 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index fell 10.45 points, or 0.12 percent, to reach 8,792.70 points, through trading of 70.6 million shares across 5,571 cash deals, valued at KD 14.3 million (about USD 43.6 million). (end)
