ADEN, Jan 21 (KUNA) -- Commander of the Second Division of the Southern Giants (Al-Amaliqa al-Janubia) Brigade Hamdi Shoukri survived a bomb attack on his convoy in the northern part of Aden city, southwest Yemen, on Wednesday.
"The criminal terrorist attack with a booby-trapped car, claimed the lives of three soldiers and injured five others," the Yemeni Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
Soon after the attack, President of the Presidential Leadership Rashad Al-Alimi phoned Brig. Shoukri to get reassured about his safety,.
Braising Brig. Shoukri's firm stance against terrorism, Al-Alimi reaffirmed resolve of his government to track down the perpetrators of the attack, accrding to the Yemeni news agency (SABA).
