Kuwait Amb. to Jordan praises Kuwaiti artists present at Jordan's Int'l exhibition

AMMAN, Dec 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Jordan, Hamad Al-Marri, said Sunday that the participation of Kuwaiti visual artists in international exhibition in Jordan, represents a distinguished Kuwaiti presence on the Arab art scene, and reflects the deep and strong relations between Kuwait and Jordan, as well as the shared vision of the two countries in supporting art as a human and cultural value.
The remarks by the ambassador was made to KUNA following his attendance at the international exhibition held in the Jordanian capital under the theme "Art, Culture and History of Peoples," in its fifth edition, organized by the Jordanian Ministry of Culture and the Dar Association for Culture and Arts, with the participation of a number of visual artists from Kuwait and several other Arab countries.
Al-Marri added that the exhibition establishes a cultural event that reflects the essential role of art in bringing people closer together, promoting human dialogue, and embodies the ability of culture to build bridges of communication that transcend geography and differences.
The ambassador pointed out that Jordan has become a hub for culture and arts, thanks to its supportive environment for creativity, its active cultural scene, and its genuine openness to Arab and international experiences, adding that "Amman's hosting of these exhibitions reflects its status as an active center for Arab intellectuals and artists." For her part, Kuwaiti artist and head of the delegation participating in the exhibition, Fadila Ayada, told KUNA that her participation in the exhibition was through an artwork inspired by the symbol of Arab hospitality, the "dallah" (coffee pot).
She presented her painting using gold leaf in a visual expression imbued with profound cultural significance.
She expressed her delight for being among this distinguished group of artists from various Arab countries, emphasizing that this exhibition provides a rich space for artistic exchange, collaboration, and reflects the spirit of cooperation and cultural dialogue between Arab and international artists.
