KUNA Media Development Center launches "Mobile Journalism" program
KUWAIT, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- The KUNA Center for Development of Media launched its training program "Mobile Journalism" on Sunday, running until December 18, with the participation of KUNA and Qatar News Agency (QNA) staff members.
The program covers the fundamentals of smartphone journalism, a range of tools and their uses, an introduction to photography for interviews and various shots, audio recording, and how to record clear, natural sounds.
It also aims to refine the trainees' practical skills and develop their abilities in photography, video production, and editing using smartphone applications and smart devices, as well as addressing the importance of mobile journalism, multimedia story production, and planning skills for creating a visual story with a clear chronological sequence.
The program equips participants with the necessary skills to plan, produce, and publish their materials and visual stories using only their smartphones, and covers photojournalism, audio recording and narration skills, and professional video production editing on mobile devices.
Established in December 1995, the KUNA Center for Development of Media, is regarded as one of the most important media training centers that has provided hundreds of training programs in various media fields, it aims to develop personal media capabilities and potential and to advance professional media work.
