Kuwait University signs MoU with Medical Liability Authority

KUWAIT, Sept 30 (KUNA) -- Kuwait University on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding with the Medical Liability Authority, a step that reflects the university's ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with national institutions and state entities.
In a press statement, the university said its President Dr. iuna Al-Mailam received President of the Medical Liability Authority Dr. Salman Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation at Sabah Al-Salem University City.
It added that the meeting witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding aimed at consolidating partnerships between Kuwait University and various state institutions, in line with Kuwait Vision 2035 objectives in education, research, and community development.
The memorandum seeks to enhance cooperation by exchanging academic expertise, training programs in law and medicine, sharing educational materials and information, and organizing joint research projects, conferences, and other initiatives of mutual interest between the two parties.
The Medical Liability Authority is an independent government body established in 2020 under Law No. 70 of 2020 regulating medical practice, allied professions, patient rights, and the operation of healthcare facilities across the country. (end) asa.ahm
