ISTANBUL, Aug 19 (KUNA) -- A 4.9 magnitude earthquake rattled Turkey's southwestern Mugla province overlooking the Aegean Sea on Sunday, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The quake's epicenter was near the coast of Mugla province with a reported depth of 28.49 kilometers under sea level, Turkey's Disaster and Crisis Management System said in a statement on its website.
In June 2017, a powerful 6.3 magnitude quake struck Turkey's western coast and the Greek island of Lesbos, killing one person and rattling buildings from the Turkish province of Izmir to the Greek capital of Athens. (end)
