Int'l sports conf. serves women on many levels - Sheikha Naeema

ABU DHABI, Nov 7 (KUNA) -- The International Conference of Sports for Women (ICSW) serves women on many levels, Sheikha Naeema Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, head of the GCC organizational committee for women sports said Tuesday.
She told reporters after the conclusion of the 4th edition of ICSW earlier today that the two-day conference was keen on shedding light on women issues in sports.
The conference celebrated women's sports through a collection of keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops featuring inspiring individuals who have left their mark on the world of sport.
The conference, held this year under the theme "Inspiring Generations," also featured other sports-related exhibits and activities for visitors to enjoy throughout the two days.
ICSW offers transparent, honest and clear debate, a platform to both challenge and empower a variety of points of view, whilst debunking stereotypes and promoting forward thinking. (end) bsu.hb
