Kuwaitis injured in bus accident in Iraq back to country

KUWAIT, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti nationals, injured in a bus accident while in southern Iraq, have arrived safely back to the country on Friday and they will be transported to local hospitals for further treatment.
Earlier today in Iraq, ten ambulances transferred the injured Kuwaitis from Iraq's Dhi Qar Governorate to the airport where a military plane, sent by His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, was waiting to transfer them back home.
On Thursday, five Kuwaiti citizens were killed and 13 others injured during a road accident while visiting the southern Iraqi city of Karbala.
Those who were deceased in the accident would be laid to rest in Al-Najaf city. (end) gta
