Diplomat: Kuwaitis deceased in bus accident receive burial in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Nov 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti nationals, killed in a bus accident in Iraq, will receive burial in Al-Najaf city, while the injured will be transported back to Kuwait on a military plane, said a diplomat Friday.
Kuwaiti consul to Iraq Redha Dashti told KUNA that ten ambulances will be ready to transfer the injured Kuwaitis from Dhi Qar Governorate to the airport and then to Kuwait where they will receive further treatment.
On those who were deceased, the Kuwaiti diplomat said that their remains would be transported to Karbala first before being laid to rest in Al-Najaf city.
Yesterday, five Kuwaiti citizens were killed and 13 others injured during a road accident while visiting the southern Iraqi city of Karbala. (end) ahh.gta
