MAKKAH, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- Millions of pilgrims arrived Friday in Mina to perform the stones throwing ritual of Hajj.
The pilgrims were at Mount Arafat yesterday performing Hajj's grandest rite until sunset. They spent Thursday's evening in Muzdalifa before heading to Mina early this morning.
After concluding the stones throwing ritual, Hajj pilgrims are permitted to slaughter sheep, cut their hair, and head to the Kaaba to perform more rituals, which will allow them to shed of the Ehram (the Hajj cloth). The stones throwing ritual will continue for two or three days depending on Hajj pilgrims' schedule.
The pilgrims will conclude their Hajj by performing the final circumambulation of the Kaaba before returning to their homes. (end) nh.gta
