Saudi congratulates Iraq on retrieving Tal Afar from IS

JEDDAH, Aug 27 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia on Sunday congratulated Iraq on their victory over the so-called Islamic State (IS) which led to the recapturing of the city of Tal Afar from the group's clutches.
Saudi Arabia pledged its full support of Iraq in its war on terror and plans to put an end to extremism and terrorism, the Saudi Press Agency quoted a Foreign Ministry source as saying. (end) nh.mys
