SARAJEVO, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- Edhem Camdzic, the Grand Mufti of Banja Luka,
the capital of Bosnian Serb Republic, extolled here Thursday efforts exerted
by Kuwait to follow up on Muslims' affairs in Bosnian Serb, where Muslims have
many challenges to address.
Speaking at a meeting with Kuwaiti Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Mohammad Khalaf, Camdzic said the Muslims of Bosnian Serb are satisfied with
the role played by Kuwait in taking care of their interests and in seeking to
resolve their problems.
The Mufti of Banja Luka also hailed Kuwait for helping the repatriation of
Muslim refugees to their former homelands in Bosnian Serb.
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador reiterated his country's keenness on
supporting Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially those refugees who
have returned to their villages.
He stressed the significance of spurring Muslim refugees to return to their
former homelands where they were forced to leave.
Kuwait's backing to Bosnian Muslims is a core component of the Gulf
nation's policy, which is based on helping Muslims worldwide. (end)
