Attacks on Baghdad police continue

BAGHDAD, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- Two Iraqi traffic policemen were injured here on Thursday when an explosive device went off east of the capital, a local security source said.
The police patrol was attacked in Al-Habeba district, in Al-Sadr city, causing material damage to the vehicle, the source told KUNA.
Security forces condoned off the scene, while the wounded policemen were transferred to Al-Kandi Hospital.
A traffic policeman was shot by gunmen in Al-Bayya' region south west of Baghdad.
Another three traffic policemen were injured in an bomb attack in Za'faraneya, southeast of Baghdad.
A group of gunmen killed an Iraqi policeman with a hand grenade while on his way back from work.
One of the outlawed Al-Sahwa group members was killed yesterday in a booby-trapped car blast in Al-Amereya region west of Baghdad, while two persons accompanying him were injured.
