MILAN, Italy, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Ambassador to Italy Sheikh Jaber Al-Duaij Al-Sabah stressed here on Thursday the importance of media cultural events such as the successful Kuwait Days in Milan in supporting foreign policy and strengthening bilateral relations with friendly countries on all levels.
Sheikh Jaber praised, in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the occasion of attending the gathering, the outstanding success of the opening ceremony which was attended by Kuwait's Undersecretary of Information Ministry Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah who represented the sponsor of the event, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
He congratulated Kuwait's Consul General in Milan Sami Al-Hamad for his tremendous efforts in highlighting the brilliant image of Kuwait as well as its heritage, a matter which enjoyed admiration and great turnout.
He said he felt admiration and appreciation from a number of important personalities who were keen to attend the cultural festival such as the President of the University of Perugia Stefania and president of the Italian-Kuwaiti Friendship Society and other senior officials.
