PARIS, Oct 12 (KUNA) -- French Minister of Foreign Trade Pierre Lellouche
will visit Libya tomorrow heading a delegation of businessmen to discuss
issues of rebuilding efforts in the North African country, the foreign
ministry said on Wednesday.
Bernard Valero, a spokesman for the French Foreign Ministry said that visit
to Libya by Lellouche was the first for the minister followed by French
President Nicola Sarkozy's last month.
The spokesman also asserted of the importance of such visit which show
keenness by France to ongoing contact with the Libyan people.
Valero added that the visit aims at consulting with the Libyan authorities
to prepare a rebuilding effort plan and to establish a strong and sustained
joint cooperation with the new Libya.
The spokesman noted that the visit will also pay attention to the needs of
the country and help setup the country's economy and know daily needs of the
Libyan people.
Valero said that France will continue to support the Libyan people who is
very close to complete victory over the previous regime. (end)
