KUWAIT, Aug 16 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf
Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Seif Palace on Tuesday Minister of
State for Planning and Development Abdulwahab Rashed Al-Haroun.
His Highness the Crown Prince also received President and members of the
administrative bodies of the National Union of Kuwaiti Students in the United
Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, France, the Arab Republic of Egypt,
University of Kuwait and the United States of America.
HH the Crown Prince confirmed to the students the need to be armed with
science and knowledge as they are the backbone of nation-building and industry
of the future.
He also urged them to obtain the highest degrees for the sake of elevating
the nation because they are young people of tomorrow and the future men and
encouraged them to be good ambassadors for their country in all scientific
forums.
His Highness also told them to convey his greetings to all the Kuwaiti
students studying abroad and wished them luck and success.
In turn, National Union of Kuwait Students (NUKS) members stressed the
importance of taking the guidance of His Highness as a beacon and as an
approach that would illuminate their way for them to achieve their hopes and
aspirations of the future, praising at the same time the permanent support of
the political leadership to overcome all the difficulties which impede their
march of science.
At the conclusion of the meeting, they presented HH a memorial gift on the
occasion.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Diwan of HH the Crown Prince Sheikh
Mubarak Al-Faisal Al-Saud Al-Sabah and Undersecretary of HH the Crown Prince's
Diwan for Local Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.
HH also met at Seif Palace Grandson of the Bahra Sultan Tikhom Muhiddin and
his accompanying delegation on the occasion of his visit to the country.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Diwan of HH the Crown Prince Sheikh
Mubarak Al-Faisal Al-Saud Al-Sabah.
He also received at Seif Palace Dr. Anas Mohammed Al-Rashid.
His Highness also received Dean of the Faculty of Arts Dr. Maymouna
Al-Athbi Al-Sabah. (end).
