GAZA, Jan 10 (KUNA) -- The Israeli military said on Monday that three
Palestinian locally made missiles landed in Ashkelon city north of Gaza.
A spokesman for the Israeli army quoted by Israeli radio as saying that
"Palestinian armed men fired the missiles which landed in Ashkelon coast."
The spokesman claimed there were no casualties or any material damage due
to the missiles explosions on ground.
No Palestinian group claimed responsibility for the attack.
This week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned against any
missile or mortar round attacks coming from Gaza.
Last night, Palestinian Resistance Group (Hamas) said it was conducting
consultations with other groups in Gaza to stop missile attacks and to unite
and stand against any new Israeli aggression. (end)
