Israeli forces arrest 12 Palestinians

RAMALLAH, Jan 4 (KUNA) -- Israeli forces arrested 12 Palestinians in Madama town and the West Bank, Palestinian security sources said Tuesday.
Around seven Palestinians, including an officer, were arrested by Israeli forces that broke into Madama near Nablus, they said, adding that Israelis searched the officer's house before capturing him.
Five others were arrested in different parts of the West Bank, they said.
Meanwhile, Radio Israel said that 12 Palestinians on Israel's wanted list were arrested and taken to interrogation centers.
Despite calls from Palestinian authorities to halt Israeli arrests and break-ins, Israeli forces continued their campaign, claiming that those captured were on their wanted list. (end) nq.aia KUNA 041216 Jan 11NNNN
