RAMALLAH, Jan 3 (KUNA) -- Israeli authorities have banned the Haram
Al-Ibrahimi from calling to prayer for the 49th time since last month, said a
report on Monday.
Israeli authorities prohibited the calling for prayer in Haram Al-Ibrahimi
mosque, due to disturbing the Israeli settlers living in the area, according
to the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs reports.
This action ignores regulations and international laws that guarantee
freedom of worship and access to religious sites safely, it explained.
However, Israeli authorities prevented praying in Haram Al-Ibrahimi, in
addition to Israeli military imposing strict measures on worshipers in it.(end)
