KUWAIT, Dec 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad
Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolence Wednesday to Jordanian King
Abdullah II over the demise of his British grandfather rtd col. Walter Percy
Gardiner.
Gardiner, father of Princess Muna Al-Hussein, passed away at his Amman home
earlier today at the age of 95.
HH the Amir prayed to God for granting help and patience to the
grief-stricken royal family of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and HH the
Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah sent similar cables
to the Jordanian leader. (end).
