SANAA, Oct 11 (KUNA) -- Al-Qaeda suspect was killed and two Yemeni soldiers
were injured in clashes in Beir Ali area, near Bilhaf gas exporting port,
Yemeni security source in Shabwa province, east of Yemen, said on Monday.
The source told KUNA that the clashes occurred between Yemeni soldiers and
Al-Qaeda organization suspects.
The source confirmed that the two soldiers were transferred to nearby
hospital.
Last month, Yemen's security said that Al-Hota town in Shabwa province was
free from Al-Qaeda followers, the announcement came after a raid operation
which resulted in killing five Al-Qaeda fighters and arrest of 28 others. (end)
