DAMASCUS, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- Syrian and Iranian presidents, Bashar Al-Assad
and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad respectively, called Saturday for the quick formation
of an Iraqi government which would ensure stability and unity for the Iraqi
people.
The statements came during an official meeting between the two leaders,
said a Presidential statement, adding that the meeting also focused on recent
happenings in the region and the world.
Both leaders also touched on means to develop relations on all possible
spheres, said the statement. The meeting was attended by senior officials from
