BAGHDAD, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- British Ambassador to Iraq John Jenkins revealed
that his country is sending a number of senior officials to Iraq to support
the bilateral relations between the two sides and to discuss ways of future
cooperation.
Jenkins met with Iraqi Foreign Undersecretary Lubaid Abbawi on Wednesday at
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a statement issued by the ministry said.
The British Ambassador discussed with Iraqi officials the latest
development and efforts, exerted for the government formation.
The statement added that both officials discussed bilateral cooperation
between the UK and Iraq, announcing that senior British officials will visit
Iraq, without revealing names. (end)
