GAZA, Sept 13 (KUNA) -- Two rockets were launched from the Gaza Strip,
targeting an area in the Negev region, southern Israel, said Israeli army
radio Monday.
Salahuddin brigades, military wing for the Popular Resistance Movement in
Palestine, claimed responsibility of the attack which reflected the movement's
refusal of the direct talks with Israel.
According to the radio, the attack did not result in any casualties or
damage.
Yesterday, Chief of the Israel Security Agency (ISA), aka Shin Beit, Yuval
Diskin noted that hostility against his nation might increase due to
Palestinian armed factions' refusal of holding direct peace talks with Israel.
Israelis and Palestinians are scheduled to hold a meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh
tomorrow to continue the talks. (end).
