GAZA, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- A pair of missiles crashed into a Jewish settlement
in the Western Negev on Thursday causing no injuries, a spokesman of the
Israeli Army said.
The spokesman told Israel Radio the missiles hit the settlement of "Shaer
Hanigev," without causing serious damage or casualties.
Earlier today, a missile crashed into southern Israel but caused no losses.
Meanwhile, the Israeli radio reported that the army conducted drills in
preparation for a possible armed confrontation with the Lebanese Hezbollah
group.
The exercise with live ammunition was carried out according to a scenario
of such a confrontation, it said. (end)
