GAZA, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- Israeli jet fighters raided Gaza Strip on Saturday
night injuring Palestinians, according to Palestinian security sources.
They told KUNA F-16 jets bombarded an area in southern Gaza in which
tunnels are used to smuggle goods from Egypt to the Strip.
Two Palestinians were injured and a fire erupted in the area, they added.
The injured were rushed to Martyr Abu Yusuf Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah.
The Israeli jets also shelled empty areas in the east of Khan Yunus in
southern Gaza Strip. The attack did not result in human casualties but caused
panic among Palestinians specially children. (end)
