GAZA, Sept 2 (KUNA) -- Israeli helicopters targeted Thursday several
locations east of Rafah City, south of the Gaza Strip, said Palestinian
sources.
The sources told KUNA that Israeli Apache helicopters opened its heavy
artillery on the already damaged Gaza Intentional Airport and several farming
lands easy of Rafah.
The attacks did not result in any injures amongst Palestinians, noted the
sources.
While situation is heating up on the ground level with Palestinian
militants attacking Israeli settlers and Israelis carrying out operations
against Palestinians, the leaders of the two sides, Palestinian President
Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are embarking on
face-to-face talks in Washington addressing the peace process in the region.
