SARAJEVO, June 27 (KUNA) -- The federal authorities in Bosnia and
Herzegovina Sunday reported a powerful terrorist bombing which targeted a
police station in a western region of the country earlier in the morning.
The authorities said the blast left one police officer dead and several
others injured, adding an investigation is underway into the attack.
The official report, carried by federal television, said the police center
is cordoned at present for gathering of evidence.
The report would not indicate any group as possible culprit, and the
motives of the bombing are still to be ascertained.(end)
