ISTANBUL, June 14 (KUNA) -- A Turkish soldier was killed and four others
were injured in clashes with members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in
southeastern Turkey on Monday.
The Governor's Office in the southeastern province of Hakkari said that "a
group of members of the PKK terrorist organization attacked a military team in
a mountainous area near the town of Semdinli."
A soldier was killed and four others were injured. The injured soldiers
were rushed to a military hospital by a helicopter. (end)
