Rocket explodes in S. Israel, none injured

GAZA, June 5 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian rocket was fired on Saturday from the Gaza Strip exploded in an open area in Ashkelon, southern Israel, a military spokesman said.
The Yedioth Ahronoth, in its online edition, quoted the spokesman as saying that the rocket fell in an open area and that there were no reports of injuries or damage.
No Palestinian faction has claimed responsibility for the attack.
