GAZA, April 25 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of
Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, claimed responsibility Sunday for firing
an RPG targeting Israeli heavy artillery during incursion east of Khazaa town,
south of Gaza Strip.
The Brigades said in a statement that one of its groups were able to target
an Israeli armored vehicle with an RPG round, noting that it was direct hit.
The statement added that such action is in response to Israeli occupation's
crimes against the Palestinians.
Earlier, Israeli forces supported by tanks and bulldozers made an incursion
in Khuzaa town and Abasan east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
During their incursion Israeli forces were destroying Palestinian farms and
targeting their fire towards nearby houses. (end)
