TEHRAN, April 20 (KUNA) -- A booby-trapped car went off in the province of
Ilam west of the Iranian capital on Tuesday killing two people and wounding
eight others.
The chief of the Iranian Red Crescent in Ilam, Mohammad Baqer Mohammadi,
said in a statement to the Iranian news agency Fars that the explosion
occurred at Imam Khomeini public square in the provincial city of Ilam.
The blast damaged many stores in the district, he added. (end)
