TEHRAN, April 10 (KUNA) -- A bomb was detonated outside the central prison
of the western city of Ilam on Saturday, wounding several people.
The semi-official Fars news agency said that the blast, which occurred this
morning, left several people who were in the vicinity wounded, and they were
taken to hospital for treatment.
It said that the blast occurred at a time when families customarily waited
to see their imprisoned relatives, adding that an investigation had been
launched into the matter. (end)
