ISTANBUL, April 5 (KUNA) -- Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdul-Mahdi arrive in
Turkey on Monday on an official visit for talks with senior Turkish officials
on prospects of joint cooperation between Turkey and Iraq and ways to
strengthen them in all spheres.
According to the Anatolia news agency, Abdul-Mahdi will meet at the
beginning of his visit, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President
Abdullah Gul and a number of senior officials.
The agency added the Turkish-Iraqi talks would tackle political
developments in Iraq beyond the election period, and the pursuit of the Iraqi
national forces to form a government of national unity as well as promoting
national reconciliation among all Iraqi people. (end).
