KABUL, March 1 (KUNA) -- The NATO-led International Security Assistance
Force (ISAF) has announced the killing of its three soldiers in Afghanistan on
Monday.
A statement from ISAF headquarters here said two of its soldiers died of
indirect fire in western zone of the country.
The third soldier was killed in a small-arms attack in southern Afghanistan
the same day, said the brief statement which did not disclose exact location
of the incidents and names and nationalities of the slain soldiers.
Earlier, the Afghan officials had informed about the killing of a NATO
soldier in a suicide car bomb attack on NATO forces in the country's southern
province of Kandahar. Four more people, all of them said to be civilians, were
killed in the same attack. (end).
