RAMALLAH, Feb 18 (KUNA) -- An Israeli soldier has been injured due to an
explosion on Thursday, near the wire fence in central Gaza Strip, Israeli
radio reported.
The radio quoted an Israeli army spokesperson saying that a bomb exploded
when an Israeli patrol car passed by, resulting in the injury of an Israeli
soldier who was stationed near the wire fence.
The spokesperson described the soldier's injuries as light.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed into central Gaza Strip, clashing with
Palestinian activists.
Palestinian sources said that Israeli forces accompanied by bulldozers
stormed into Deir Al-Balah, opening random fire in the area.(end)
