MOSCOW, Feb 13 (KUNA) -- Four Chechens were killed in confrontations
between the Russian forces and armed me in the northern caucasus region on
Saturday, security sources said.
The hostilities between the Russian forces and gunmen in Sonja region in
the Republic of Ingushetia killed the four Chechens, injured another while one
was still missing, Interfax news agency quoted the sources as saying.
Russian security accuse the gunmen of using civilians as human shields.
Russian authorities had announced that 20 people were killed in
confrontations against extremists in Sonja. (end)
