IRBIL, Jan 31 (KUNA) -- Unidentified gunmen shot dead an Iraqi woman in the
northern city of Mosul on Sunday, police said.
The gunmen killed the woman after bursting into her house in the city, a
police source said.
Elsewhere, security personnel detained a suicide bomber wearing a
booby-trapped belt at a checkpoint in Al-Nour region in Tal-Aafar west of
Mosul.
Bomb disposal experts safely defused the explosives. (end)
