KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs is due
to organize on Monday a three-day conference dealing with development of the
intellectual capital.
The convention, themed "about a new strategic vision in government
institutions," is to be held under patronage of His Highness the Prime
Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The ministry said in a press statement on Sunday the conference would open
tomorrow morning at the Sheraton Hotel Kuwait, with presence of the
representative of the sponsor of the event, Deputy Prime Minsiter for Legal
Affairs, Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Justic
Rashed Al-Hammad.
Participants in the conference will include a number of researchers and
experts working in the field of human resources development in Kuwait and the
Gulf states and Arab countries. Up to 74 scientific papers are to be addressed
at the convention.
Invitations had been addressed to 100 experts and scholars, specialized in
the domain of the human resources development in the State of Kuwait and the
Arab world. (end)
