BAGHDAD, Dec 23 (KUNA) -- Five Iraqis, including four policemen, were
killed in two separate attacks in Baghdad on Wednesday, Iraqi police said.
Unknown gunmen opened fire at a security checkpoint in Abu Ghraib, west of
the capital, during which four policemen were killed, Iraqi police sources
said.
An Iraqi civilian was killed and three others injured, when a booby-trapped
car exploded in Al-Khathmeyah, north of Baghdad, the police sources said.
The Iraqi authorities in Baghdad has warned against a new kind of small
explosive devices that could be stuck to wheels of civilian vehicles.(end)
