BAGHDAD, Oct 31 (KUNA) -- A new Iraqi coalition bloc under the name the
"Iraqi National Movement" (INM) has been announced here Saturday with the bloc
gathering former Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi with head of the national
dialogue block Saleh Al-Mutlak.
The new coalition was announced during a press conference attended by
Allawi and Mutlak who both would be occupying the President and General
Secretary positions within the new bloc.
Allawi called on his part for clean Iraqi elections that would focus on
fair vote. The official criticized the delay of the census, indicating that
such thing was hindering the Iraqi political process.
On the Kirkuk issue, Allawi called for a comprehensive solution to the
matter of including the Kirkuk region in elections.
Meanwhile, Mutlak stated that the new coalition would focus on building a
unified Iraq through mutual cooperation amongst the people of this country.
