BEIRUT, Oct 27 (KUNA) -- A Katyusha rocket was fired from southern Lebanon
towards Israel on Tuesday, security sources said.
They added in press remarks that the rocket was fired from Al-Jamal Valley
near the borders and the Israeli army forces retaliated with artillery fire on
the same area in which the rocket was fired.
The Israeli police confirmed that a Katyusha landed in northern Israel but
caused no human casualties.
The Lebanese army and UN peacekeeping forces cordoned off the area and
started inspecting it.
Two rockets were fired from southern Lebanon on September 11 towards
northern Israel. (end)
