GAZA, Sept 29 (KUNA) -- The Israeli police Tuesday arrested some 50
Palestinians following yesterday's violent clashes at the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque
in Jerusalem.
Local radio stations said the police launched house-to-house searches
during which several Palestinians were detained.
The police said the arrests took place after monitoring surveillance
cameras installed all over the holy city.
Nearly 40 Palestinians were injured in clashes with the Israel police and
Jewish extremists yesterday. (end)
