Malaysia declares 275 new swine flu cases

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- The Malaysian Ministry of Health declared that 275 persons have tested positive for the Influenza A subtype virus (H1N1) on Wednesday.
A total of 41 patients, including 33 in serious conditions, are being treated at intensive care units, Director General of Health Ismail Mericam said.
While 1,275 swine flu patients are still receiving medications, 174 have left hospitals after recovering completely from the fatal disease, Mericam added.. (end) ab.gb KUNA 100023 Sep 09NNNN
