MOSCOW, Aug 28 (KUNA) -- Russian President Dimtry Medvedev lauded Friday
the Islamic world stance against terrorism, saying that the Muslim states were
an important partner in countering terrorism.
Medvedev affirmed during his meeting with Muslim clerics in a Black Sea
resort that the strong ties between Russia and the Muslim world, calling on
media to denounce the labeling of Islamic terrorism.
The media should showcase to the world true Islamic teachings and values
instead of stereotyping Islam as an extreme faith. (end)
