KABUL, Aug 27 (KUNA) -- Afghan security forces detained seven militants,
including a militant leader, during a raid to capture a suspected insurgent
leader in southeastern Afghanistan.
A statement issued by ISAF on Thursday said that the operation was
conducted in Sar Hawza district of Paktika province.
Afghan security forces entered a medical clinic to capture the suspected

During search, the soldiers came under direct fire attack. ISAF members and
more Afghan troops arrived to support the mission.
"After ensuring the clinic was cleared of civilians, an AH-64 Apache
helicopter fired rounds at the building, ending the direct threat and injuring
the targeted insurgent in the building," said the statement.
The operation succeeded in capturing a militant leader who was posing a
threat to the security and peace of Afghan people, said the statment.
There were no civilian casualties, it added.
The statement said one ISAF soldier was killed in the operation and his
