KABUL, June 6 (KUNA) -- Five people, including two security personnel, were
killed in a suicide attack in a border town of Afghanistan on Saturday.
The explosion took place in a busy market in Spin Boldak district, joining
the Balochistan province of the neighbouring Pakistan.
Police officials and eyewitnesses said the dead included two policemen and
three civilians. Nearly a dozen more people sustained injuries in the blast,
they added.
Witnesses said the bomber was riding on a motorcycle. He detonated the
explosives planted on the bike in front of a restaurant.
No party has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. (end)
